• Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your name (real or pseudonymous), email address, and authentication credentials. You may also register and log in using social authentication providers (Google, Facebook, Apple, GitHub). The platform supports these integrations above traditional email/password, but we are still completing SDK and App ID registration for certain providers. When using a social login (such as Google, Facebook, Apple, or GitHub), FactFound.ai only receives the basic profile information and email address authorized by you via the provider’s permissions screen. We do not access your password or any private information beyond what you explicitly grant.
• Platform Usage: We collect data regarding your interactions on the platform, including submission, validation, arbitration, and other workflow events. All such data is logged in immutable, cryptographically secured ledgers to ensure auditability, integrity, and transparency.
• Communications: If you contact us, we may store your correspondence, contact details, and any other information you choose to provide.
• Technical Data: We collect technical data such as device information, IP address, browser type, and usage analytics to maintain platform security, optimize user experience, and fulfill compliance and security monitoring obligations.

3. Legal Basis for Processing

We process your personal data based on legitimate interests, performance of a contract (Terms of Service), compliance with legal obligations, and, where required, your explicit consent.

4. Data Retention

All user data, including audit logs, are retained for as long as necessary to meet the operational, legal, and compliance needs of the platform, or until an erasure request is processed in accordance with applicable law. Immutable ledger entries may be retained indefinitely to ensure historical auditability.

FactFound.ai employs modern, audited cryptographic methods to protect all data in transit and at rest. Role-based access control (RBAC), immutable audit trails, and periodic security reviews are enforced throughout the platform. Backups are maintained in multiple jurisdictions in accordance with resilience and compliance standards.

8. International Transfers

Your data may be stored and processed on servers in multiple jurisdictions. All transfers comply with applicable cross-border data protection laws.

9. Children’s Privacy

FactFound.ai is not intended for use by children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us for prompt removal.

10. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Substantial changes will be announced on the platform and via registered email addresses. Continued use after such updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
